Research Network

Yorkshire and Humber's Offender Health and Social Care (OHSC) Research Network has been established to support innovation and evidence based practice in the region. To achieve this challenging task the research network endeavours:

  • To be a local source of information that facilitates research and evidence based practice.
  • To provide basic training events and workshops such as on basic research methods for front line staff.
  • To be able to bring all the different skills in the area of offender health and social care.
  • To co-ordinate and facilitate a link between academia and front line and practitioners.

The Research Network believes involvement of all our stakeholders from different sectors of offender health and social care is paramount for the advancement of evidence based practice and supports and encourages active participation from all our partners.
