The Care and Support website www.careandsupport.direct.gov.uk has been restructured and is now live.

With a fresh new look and interactive features, the website will enable people throughout the Green Paper consultation to get involved, and have their say on the future of care and support in England.

As part of keeping people updated on reform of care and support and what is happening throughout the consultation, but also importantly what is happening in social care as a whole, David Behan the Department of Health's Director General of Social Care, Local Government and Care Partnerships has started his own blog.

The blog will see David giving a personal perspective on the way things are progressing in this very busy year for the Directorate, and will invite people to share their opinions on a whole range of issues.

Keep visiting the website over the coming months as more interactive features, including voting tools, will be added, and David will continue to add blog entries.
