On 30th November 2009 in Wakefield YHIP ran the event 'System commissioning for age appropriate services under the Mental Health Act – a whole systems issue.'
The event was aimed at CAMHS Commissioners, AMHS commissioners, Governance Leads e.g Directors of Nursing and Tier 4 Regional Commissioning.
The aim of the event was to ensure that commissioners have information about their responsibilities under the Mental Health Act, particularly section 131A as this comes into force on the 1st April 2010. By the end of the event, commissioners across adult and CAMHS will have an action plan to ensure that they are ready for the legislation.
