Malcolm Rutt is the Yorkshire and Humber Improvement Partnership Involvement Lead and is currently providing support to the Yorkshire and Humber Local Involvement Networks (LINks) programme.
The LINks have replaced Patient Forums and have been established since April 2008.
There are 15 LINks, one per each Local Authority. Each LINk is supported by a host organisation that has a contract with their local authority.
The LINks are networks of local people, organisations and groups that want to make care services better. They look at all health and social care services that are funded by taxpayers.
LINks will feedback information to the people responsible for commissioning and providing, managing and checking up on health and social care services so that things can change for the better.
