Event location: Park Plaza, Boar Lane, City Square, Leeds LS1
Date: 5th Mar 2010
Event time: 09:45 to 13:30
This event is in partnership with the Department of Health and National Offender Management Service (NOMS).
PSA 16 is a cross-agency; inter governmental initiative to bring about real and sustained improvements in accommodation and employment outcomes, for socially excluded adults, focusing on people receiving secondary mental health care, people with learning difficulties, care leavers and offenders under probation supervision.
The Yorkshire & Humber Region has joined forces with key agencies across the region to work together on this major area of work. It is important that the different Agencies and Departments work together on this Agenda. There needs to be a joint approach if we are to make a real difference and improve performance right across the region – this will not happen if we continue to work separately. This event will provide an opportunity to bring together the different sectors e.g. Housing and Health. Also to provide a chance to understand each other’s agenda’s/working practices.
This event will raise the profile of the PSA16 Agenda, and focusing in on the Accommodation strand. As part of the event we will be seeking your input into ways in which we can improve delivery. This is also your chance to shape the Agenda in the Yorkshire & Humber.
