This free event, organised by the Yorkshire & Humber Improvement Partnership (YHIP) and Minding the Gap, aims to learn about progress made in developing LINks around the region and to gather views on the challenges faced in taking this work forward. The objective is to establish what needs to be included in a co-ordinated programme of regional support, to be delivered by partner agencies including YHIP, Minding the Gap, NHS Yorkshire & Humber and the Regional Public Health Team.
The focus of this event will be on gathering learning and identifying priorities for a regional support programme. The emphasis will be on giving participants the opportunity to share their experiences and concerns and the event will be built around sessions seeking answers to five key questions.
- What progress has been made so far
- What are the development challenges
- What are the expectations of partners and stakeholders (Local Authority, NHS, Department of Health)
- How are work programmes developing
- What support can be delivered regionally
The day will be facilitated by Stephanie Varah, formerly of the Department of Health and Project Manager of the Early Adopter Programme. Representatives of all partner agencies involved in the regional support programme will be in attendance.
Who Should Attend
It is anticipated that the event will be of interest to, and benefit from the attendance of, a range of participants including;
- Commissioners from local authorities and primary care trusts
- Public Engagement leads from local authorities and NHS trusts
