The Child and Maternity Partnership was a national partnership between the Department of Health and NHS to deliver a programme of support through Regional Change Agents/improvement support supplied by SHAs and a national resource to facilitate improvement, policy dissemination in priority areas and knowledge transfer.
Our main aim was to support real change and better outcomes for children in generic and targeted services, helping services to implement Every Child Matters, the Children Act 2004 and parts of the National Service Framework (NSF) for children, young people and maternity services.
