Children, young people and families

The Children, Young People and Families programme team provides focused support and development at regional and local level in order to improve services and outcomes for children, young people and families.

The programme delivers across four work streams between which there are some important linkages and shared agendas:

  • Child  health promotion and vulnerable children
  • Children with disabilities, long term conditions or palliative care needs
  • Maternity
  • Psychological health and wellbeing (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services - CAMHS)

Working as part of the Yorkshire and Humber CSIP team, the children, young people and families team has strong working links with other regional organisations, particularly the SHA, Regional Public Health Team and the Director of Children and Learner's team.
