YHIP was during its existance the only initiative dedicated to improving health and social care outcomes for Yorkshire and Humber. We worked across health and social care boundaries and with a range of partners from both health, social care, criminal justice agencies and independent and third sectors to create the best overall outcomes for people and families who needed support and/or used services. Our work was governed by a partnership board with full stakeholder representation. This board agreed our business plan, monitored its implementation and agreed investment priorities.
YHIP programme activity ceased on 25th February 2011 and the organisation closed on 31st March 2011.
For more information on the last 12 months of our work, plus arrangements for the 12 months after closure you can download the YHIP closure document.
